System Status
No issues or maintenance to report. System is fully functional.
Faculty Access
- Automatic access for all faculty with current or pending research
- Principal Investigators see their own portfolios immediately upon login – no searching required
- System aggregates information from several different reports in one place – no need to run multiple reports for different time periods
- PIs can move from summary to transaction detail in three clicks
Staff Access
- Staff who have access to the research financial folders in Cognos BI reporting will have automatic access to the Research Portal
- All research staff will have access to all investigators’ sponsored projects
- Sensitive information like salary and non-sponsored/discretionary funds require the same access restrictions that are currently in place in other systems
